From my grandmother, I learned patience in the kitchen.
From my mother, I learned that food is love, and that feeding others is joy.
As the first in my Armenian family to be born in Los Angeles, food became my strongest link to my heritage. Growing up, I learned to cook by adapting, reinventing, and savoring. That still shapes how I cook today.
My Armenian roots and Los Angeles upbringing come together naturally in the kitchen, where tradition meets a more modern, everyday way of cooking.
I’ve always been drawn to reimagining time-honored recipes with a fresh, simple approach. Thoughtful, intentional, and naturally balanced.
It all started with Borekita, made in big batches and shared fresh from the oven or saved for later.
This isn’t just baking.
It’s preservation. It’s storytelling.
This is Wheat and Love.
