The Roots Behind Every Bite
It started with a recipe and a reason to share.
From my grandmother, I learned patience in the kitchen.
From my mother, I learned that food is love, and that feeding others is joy.
As the first in my Armenian family to be born in Los Angeles, food became our truest link to heritage. In a small home of selective eaters, no two meals were ever quite the same. That rhythm — of adapting, reinventing, and savoring — became the heartbeat of how I cook.
My Armenian background and Los Angeles upbringing come together naturally in the kitchen, where tradition meets a modern creativity. Wheat & Love is a reflection of the city's beauty in diversity — a blend of influences and flavors that celebrate connection, memory, and care,
I love reimagining time-honored recipes with a fresh, wholesome approach — always mindful of simplicity, intention, and, as always, no sugar added.
Those values started early with the first recipe I ever learned: Borekita, always made in big batches — some enjoyed right out of the oven, others saved for later. That rhythm of preparing, sharing, and savoring still guides everything we create.
From golden, flaky pastries to nostalgic, flavor-rich fillings, each creation is shaped by memory, intention, and heart. Every bite is a nod to tradition, lovingly reimagined for today.
This isn’t just baking.
It’s preservation. It’s storytelling.
This is Wheat and Love.
